About The Position

The HVAC Test Technician tests HVAC products and systems using appropriate testing equipment. The role requires safe practices when working with electricity and pressurized systems, along with knowledge of HVAC sizing and selection formulas and psychrometrics. The position is scheduled Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at $22 per hour. Employment offers are contingent on successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, before advancing to the next level.
• HVAC training or schooling is required or must be in progress.
• Ability to use appropriate test equipment, including meters and refrigeration gauges.
• Ability to follow safe practices when working with electricity and pressurized systems.
• Working knowledge of HVAC formulas used in product sizing and selection, and a complete understanding of psychrometrics and the use of psychometric formulas.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
