1st shift HVAC Technician

About The Position

The HVAC Technician reports to the Reflections Asset Reliability Supervisor and performs inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on manufacturing, packaging, and related facilities equipment. The role also involves general maintenance, completing work orders in SAP, using Redzone, collaborating with technicians across all three shifts, equipment rebuilding, preventive maintenance, special projects, and potentially welding and machining parts. The technician is responsible for ordering parts and completing work within established timelines. Travel to other manufacturing and packaging sites may be required. The position requires the ability to work from ladders and lifts, perform heavy lifting, and wear negative- and/or positive-pressure respirators for extended periods each day. Candidates must be medically cleared to wear respirators without restrictions. The job may require shift flexibility.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
State of Michigan licensed HVAC Journey worker.
Demonstrated cooperative work conduct and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Commitment to meeting schedules and deadlines through good attendance and willingness to work overtime, including weekends.
Ability to work from ladders and lifts and perform heavy lifting.
Own transportation.
Must have or be able to obtain a PIE equipment certification shortly after starting the role.
Ability to wear negative- and/or positive-pressure respirators for extended periods daily and medical clearance to wear respirators without restrictions.

Responsibilities
