About The Position

The Westover Companies is a family-owned and operated property management company. We are located in the King of Prussia area and have operated for over fifty years with the purpose of providing quality living, shopping and working space for residents and customers. This position will be covering our Montgomery, Chester, and Berks County properties.

Requirements

  • Minimum six years HVAC service experience.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Demonstrate the appropriate and safe use of standard hand and power tools.
  • Knowledge of water source heat pumps, electric heat pumps, boilers, and hydronic heating.
  • Lifting and moving of heavy items at least 25 lbs. or more (water heaters, appliances, rock salt, etc.).
  • Be able to shovel and salt when it snows.
  • Use a variety of building trade skills.
  • Be able to use step/extension ladders.
  • Keep track of inventory.
  • Identify safety and hazardous conditions and report to Director of Upgrade Division and/or Safety Committee.
  • Follow Company operational and safety procedures.
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Westover Management maintain and operate all HVAC systems.
  • Inspect and monitor jobs.
  • Inspect properties for potential liability or problems and report back to Director.
  • Complete and send Weekly Status Reports every Tuesday morning to Director.
  • Perform Equipment Inspections when a filter change is scheduled for the entire property, identify problem units for replacement, and address deficiencies in order of priority.
  • Catalog existing equipment and make preventative maintenance schedules for each property.
  • Perform PM’S on existing older equipment to ensure a unit’s longevity.
  • Perform Preventive Maintenance in boiler rooms, including routine inspections, cleaning rooms, repairing leaking pipes, installing carbon monoxide detectors, improving lighting, painting floors, ensuring electrical devices are covered, and checking flue pipes.
  • Troubleshoot and investigate any issue that may arise at a property.
  • Perform daily travel.
  • Perform any other tasks as assigned.
