HVAC Technician
About The Position
Mennonite Village is seeking a skilled and certified HVAC Technician to join their Facilities team. This advanced role involves performing HVAC service and repair work across the campus, focusing on complex troubleshooting, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance. The technician will serve as a subject matter expert, support complex system repairs and installations, and document work orders and maintenance tasks in the CMMS. The position requires a commitment to service excellence and a desire to work in a mission-driven environment that supports the comfort and safety of residents.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- HVAC certification required
- Three (3) years of commercial HVAC maintenance and repair experience required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Valid Oregon driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of five (5) years of building maintenance experience construction trades, or related field preferred
- Experience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and control systems preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on HVAC systems
- Serve as a subject matter expert in HVAC and support complex system repairs and installations
- Complete and document work orders, preventive maintenance tasks, and inspections accurately in the CMMS
- Deliver courteous, professional, and compassionate service to residents, staff, and leadership
