As a System Technician in Maintenance & Operations, you'll be an essential member of our facilities team, maintaining critical building systems that support scientific research and manufacturing operations. This hands-on role involves operating, monitoring, and maintaining HVAC systems, refrigeration equipment, specialty water systems, and laboratory safety devices to ensure optimal environmental conditions for our client's operations. You'll work independently and collaboratively to prevent equipment failures, conduct preventive maintenance, and respond to system needs while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and operational standards. This position operates under the United Steel, Paper and Forestry, Rubber, Manufacturing, Energy, Allied Industrial and Service Workers International Union (USW) on behalf of Local 4-438. Important Notice: This position requires work with chemical, radiological, or biological agents that may be hazardous to health if mishandled (including agents which may potentially affect reproduction or the fetus).
