About The Position

We are seeking a seasoned HVAC technician who loves the trade but dislikes high-pressure sales tactics. At On The Way AC, we prioritize giving our technicians the time, tools, and support to thoroughly diagnose issues, identify root causes, and educate homeowners. We provide a fully stocked service vehicle, a company tablet, and ongoing technical and communication coaching to help technicians honestly increase their income.

Requirements

Solid residential troubleshooting experience.
Proficiency in static pressure, subcooling, superheat, and electrical diagnostics.
Ability to explain technical issues to homeowners in plain English.
EPA 608 Certification.
Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, document, and educate homeowners on the condition of their HVAC systems.
Perform thorough system diagnostics, including static pressure, subcooling, superheat, and electrical diagnostics.
Treat the customer's home with respect, documenting measurements, photos, and options clearly.
Provide honest and clear options to customers without using high-pressure sales tactics.
