About The Position

The HVAC Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC and refrigeration systems in a 24/7, cGMP-regulated facility. This role involves working with air handling units (AHUs), chillers, boilers, and cleanroom HVAC systems, as well as maintaining temperature-controlled environments, including cold and warm rooms. The technician will interpret and apply technical drawings, schematics, and documentation, perform both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, and ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulatory requirements. Accurate completion of maintenance logs and system documentation, along with strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, are essential. The role requires the ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support consistent environmental control meeting manufacturing and facility standards.

Requirements

  • EPA Certification is required
  • 2+ years in a dedicated experience in commercial HVAC role
  • Previous experience: Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems in a 24/7, cGMP-regulated facility.
  • Experience with (AHUs), chillers, boilers, and cleanroom HVAC systems.
  • Ability to interpret and apply technical drawings, schematics, and documentation.
  • Ability to work rotating schedule which includes working every other Sunday, 12-hour work days
  • Climbing ladders, confined space, LOTO, hot work permit
  • HVACs will work in cold rooms
  • Exposure to chemicals such as glycol, utilities, IPA, spor-klenz and refrigerant
  • Role will operate: Scissor list, boom lift.
