Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent vocational training
- 3 years general commercial HVAC experience
- Valid CT Heating & Cooling license (S2) and Freon Recovery license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Driver’s license with appropriate driving record
Responsibilities
- Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
- Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
- Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
- Repair and replacement of steam traps, steam system parts, pneumatic controls and condensate pumps.
- Maintenance and repair of refrigeration equipment, walk-ins and reach-in coolers.
- Maintenance, repair, and Preventive maintenance and cleaning of ice machines.
