About The Position

We are seeking a licensed HVAC Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in a safe and efficient manner. This role supports facility and equipment reliability by responding to maintenance needs, completing preventive maintenance, and helping minimize downtime across the operation.

Requirements

  • Valid HVAC license required
  • EPA certification required
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, motors, controls, and refrigeration principles
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools, gauges, meters, and standard hand tools
  • Ability to read technical documents and follow maintenance procedures
  • Basic computer skills for maintenance systems or work order tracking
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • Technical school training or apprenticeship in HVAC, refrigeration, or related field preferred
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing commercial or industrial HVAC systems preferred
  • Experience in manufacturing, plant maintenance, food production, or commercial facilities
  • Experience working with preventive maintenance programs
  • Familiarity with building automation or control systems
  • Experience working with outside contractors and vendors

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, diagnose, service, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems
  • Perform preventive maintenance on air handlers, rooftop units, split systems, exhaust systems, chillers, boilers, and related equipment
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control issues to restore equipment quickly and safely
  • Install, replace, and test HVAC components including motors, belts, compressors, valves, filters, thermostats, and sensors
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, equipment manuals, and technical drawings
  • Monitor system performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability and energy efficiency
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and parts usage documentation
  • Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and company policies
  • Support facility maintenance needs as required and coordinate with production, operations, or contractors when needed
  • Help maintain compliance with applicable mechanical, electrical, environmental, and safety standards
