About The Position

Penske Automotive Group (PAG) is seeking a motivated and hard-working HVAC Technician to join their team. The Facilities Representative is responsible for maintaining building maintenance and services, and the repair/replacement of dealership equipment to ensure maximum production of the dealership. The role involves ensuring the world-class facility is maintained in accordance with PAG standards and providing an unparalleled level of quality and attention to detail when performing routine grounds and building maintenance. Duties should be performed in a timely, courteous, and professional manner that reflects the dealership and PAG values.

Requirements

  • High School graduate.
  • Previous maintenance experience.
  • Strong ability for on the job training.
  • General Construction background desired.
  • Must be certified in both Electrical and HVAC repair.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
  • Certification of taking a 20 Hour OSHA class.
  • Fork Lift certification.
  • Aerial Lift Certification.
  • Ability to establish personal performance goals that are consistent with the organizations standards of productivity and devise a strategy to meet those goals.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to process data and organize it for management analysis.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
  • Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to use independent judgement and discretion to accomplish departmental and organizational goals.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
  • Ability to interact with a diverse group of people and be a positive influence on employee morale throughout the organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree or equivalent; and three to five year's related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Automotive dealership facility experience.
  • Electrical and electronic principles.
  • Blueprint and electrical schematic reading.
