This role is for an experienced HVAC pro who enjoys solving complex problems and keeping systems running at their best. The HVAC Technician will help create a safe, comfortable home for our residents.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of HVAC/maintenance experience. (Current enrollment in an accredited vocational trade school for maintenance of commercial kitchen/laundry facilities and or chillers may substitute for one year of experience)
HVAC Certification preferred.
EPA Certification strongly preferred. If no EPA certification employee must obtain within 90 days of hire.
Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

Service, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, chillers, boilers, refrigeration, air handlers, and commercial equipment
Perform preventative maintenance and general building repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliances
Read blueprints and schematics to diagnose issues and complete quality repairs
Maintain equipment logs, reports, and maintenance records
Work with residents, staff, and vendors to deliver outstanding customer service
Help support plant operations and emergency systems while keeping safety a top priority
Occasionally carrying the maintenance on-call pager may be required.
Possibility of working weekends, holidays, overtime and or any shift as dictated by department workload.
