About The Position

Mennonite Village is seeking a skilled and certified HVAC Technician to perform advanced troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance across its campus facilities. This role is crucial for ensuring the safety, reliability, and smooth operation of complex building systems, directly supporting the comfort and safety of residents and staff. The position requires technical expertise, a strong service mindset, and a commitment to working in a mission-driven environment that values relationships and dignity.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• HVAC certification required.
• Three (3) years of commercial HVAC maintenance and repair experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Valid Oregon driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Criminal background check is required for new hires.
• Must be able to work in a drug-free workplace.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of five (5) years of building maintenance experience construction trades, or related field preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and control systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on HVAC systems.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in HVAC and support complex system repairs and installations.
• Complete and document work orders, preventive maintenance tasks, and inspections accurately in the CMMS.
• Deliver courteous, professional, and compassionate service to residents, staff, and leadership.
