HVAC Technician
About The Position
We are seeking a HVAC Technician to support the Veteran community in the Dallas, TX. area. This position is open to all candidates, including Locum or Traveling professionals. The role involves installing, operating, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, and ventilation systems throughout the hospital, from small domestic units to complex equipment up to 300 HP and large central systems of about 500 tons. This includes inspecting equipment, performing major and minor repairs, adjusting controls, troubleshooting leaks, servicing compressors, chemically treating water systems, and working with mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic controls.
Requirements
- Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship.
- 4+ years of trade experience
- Active state of Texas HVAC license
- Siemens controls training
- OSHA certification
- The ability to read blueprints and independent problem-solving, with occasional supervision of helpers.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with the VA is a plus
