About The Position

The HVAC Technician supports a secure federal facilities Operations & Maintenance (O&M) program by performing HVAC preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation, and service call response activities within a mission-critical facilities environment in Northern Virginia. This position is responsible for supporting daily operations involving heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, BAS/DDC controls, chillers, boilers, CRAC units, cooling towers, pumps, air handlers, compressors, and associated mechanical infrastructure. The HVAC Technician supports operational readiness by responding to service calls, completing preventive maintenance activities, maintaining maintenance documentation, and supporting emergency response operations in accordance with contract requirements and Government standards. The HVAC Technician works closely with site leadership, maintenance personnel, subcontractors, and Government representatives to support daily operations within a secure TS/SCI environment.

Requirements

  • Experience in HVAC preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation, and service call response.
  • Knowledge of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, BAS/DDC controls, chillers, boilers, CRAC units, cooling towers, pumps, air handlers, compressors, and associated mechanical infrastructure.
  • Ability to respond to service calls.
  • Ability to complete preventive maintenance activities.
  • Ability to maintain maintenance documentation.
  • Ability to support emergency response operations.
  • Ability to work within a secure TS/SCI environment.
  • Ability to work closely with site leadership, maintenance personnel, subcontractors, and Government representatives.
