About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an apprenticeship program or vocational training in HVAC technology.
  • Certification or licensure as an HVAC technician.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems and codes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
  • Strong attention to detail and safety.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Work Orders detailing specific maintenance or repair tasks.
  • Mechanical and Electrical Blueprints from architects or engineers.
  • Manufacturer Specifications for HVAC equipment and components.
  • Safety Protocols and regulatory documents regarding compliance.
  • Client and Stakeholder Communications via emails or meetings for project updates and coordination.
  • Training on the latest HVAC technologies and compliance standards.
  • Safety Checklists for ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for common tasks.
  • Technical Manuals and Blueprints
  • Maintenance Schedules and logs.

Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain HVAC systems and components.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of HVAC systems.
  • Diagnose and repair HVAC faults and malfunctions.
  • Ensure compliance with HVAC safety standards and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all HVAC work.
  • Set up, test, and commission HVAC systems and components.
  • Adjust system settings for optimal performance and energy efficiency.
  • Adhere to HVAC safety standards and regulations.
  • Responding to HVAC system failures or urgent service calls.
  • Implementing new HVAC systems as part of a renovation project.
  • Conducting inspections following safety alerts or incidents.
  • Performing regular checks and services on HVAC systems.
  • Preparing HVAC systems for seasonal changes.
  • Conducting periodic compliance checks to ensure regulatory standards are met.
  • Checking stock levels of HVAC components and ordering supplies.
  • Reviewing system performance data for efficiency improvements.
  • Ensuring all HVAC documentation is up to date.
