About The Position

R & T Yoder Electric, Plumbing, & HVAC, Inc in Columbus, OH is looking to hire a full-time experienced HVAC Technician. This role offers a competitive wage of up to $45/hour, depending on experience, and a $300 sign-on bonus. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for removing old systems, installing new ones, performing routine maintenance, training junior members, communicating with clients, ordering and maintaining equipment, running pipe and duct systems, reading wiring diagrams, understanding refrigeration cycles, and interpreting technical data.

Requirements

4+ years of HVAC field experience
Knowledge of residential and/or commercial HVAC systems and local codes
Valid driver's license and a good driving record
Problem solver who enjoys troubleshooting
Self-motivated
Excellent communication skills including the ability to explain technical information clearly and in layman's terms
Service-oriented
Ability to establish a good rapport with people
Respectful of others and their personal property
Punctual and reliable
Takes pride in work

Responsibilities

Removing old HVAC systems
Installing new HVAC systems
Performing routine maintenance
