About The Position

As an experienced HVAC Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the reliable operation and maintenance of our industrial facilities. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in environments such as manufacturing plants and large commercial facilities. Your technical expertise and commitment to quality will help ensure a safe, efficient, and comfortable working environment for all building occupants, contributing directly to JLL’s high standards of operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on HVAC experience in industrial settings such as manufacturing plants, warehouses, or large commercial facilities
  • EPA Universal Certification (required)
  • Valid state HVAC/Refrigeration license (where applicable)
  • Strong working knowledge of large-tonnage HVAC equipment, industrial ventilation, and process cooling systems
  • Proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, including 480 volts and pump rebuilds
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and equipment specifications
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS), computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), and energy management systems
  • Additional certifications in welding, electrical, or related trades
  • OSHA safety certifications
  • Experience working on system upgrades and cross-functional projects
  • Basic knowledge of inventory and maintenance record-keeping systems
  • Experience training or mentoring other technicians

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and installations of industrial HVAC systems including chillers, boilers, cooling towers, air handlers, and related equipment
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using testing devices and specialized tools
  • Respond to emergency service calls and troubleshoot system failures to minimize downtime
  • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and accurately document all work performed
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, P&IDs, and technical manuals
  • Ensure all work complies with applicable building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts inventory, and equipment history
  • Coordinate with facilities management and other trades for system upgrades and projects
