About The Position
Workforce Solutions is partnering with a heating and air conditioning company in Baraboo, WI to hire an experienced, reliable HVAC Technician & Installer. This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and/or commercial settings. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality work, follows safety standards, and enjoys working as part of a team. Responsibilities include installing HVAC systems, reading blueprints, testing installed systems, diagnosing issues, performing routine inspections, and providing excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Previous HVAC Technician or Installer experience required
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and tools
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- Technical or trade school training is a plus
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair HVAC systems and equipment
- Install HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork
- Read and follow blueprints, specifications, and work orders
- Test installed systems to ensure proper operation
- Ensure work is completed safely and according to local codes
- Diagnose system issues and perform necessary repairs
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Provide professional and courteous service to customers
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work site
