We provide comprehensive facility services ranging from mechanical maintenance and self-performed, site-based operations to energy-efficiency upgrades and supplier-managed interior/exterior maintenance. In a safe, efficient, and professional manner, the HVAC Technician II performs preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC systems across a variety of customer locations. This position is provided a company vehicle, tools, and equipment and requires daily travel to customer sites, including locations outside the assigned hiring market. Travel may constitute up to 75% of work time, with some assignments requiring support at a single facility for an extended period. The HVAC Technician II is responsible for troubleshooting, servicing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC equipment including air handling units (AHUs), air conditioning units (ACUs), heat pumps, variable air volume (VAV) systems, direct digital controls (DDCs), and ventilation systems. Experience with chillers, boilers, and commercial kitchen equipment is preferred. Responsibilities include conducting equipment inspections, operational testing, routine rounds, and data analysis to ensure systems are functioning safely and efficiently. In addition to HVAC-related duties, the technician supports facility teams by performing general building maintenance, plumbing repairs, and other facility service requests as needed. The role includes evaluating building systems, identifying deficiencies, and providing recommendations for repairs or improvements. Additional responsibilities include maintaining company tools and equipment, ordering parts and supplies required for repairs and installations, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and performing other duties as assigned by the Facility Maintenance Manager. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment, demonstrate strong customer service skills, good computer skills including use of iPads, computers and phones, and possess excellent verbal and written communication abilities while adhering to all company safety policies and health standards.
