This role is for an experienced and hard-working Senior HVAC Technician to join the team. As an HVAC Tech in this company, you will be responsible for maintaining a broad range of Heating Ventilation, Air-Conditioning, and refrigeration equipment (HVAC) to include Package Units, Chillers, Boilers, Air Handlers, Chilled Water Loops, Humidifiers, and Exhaust Hoods.

Requirements

• High school/GED
• 1-3 years experience as a journeyman HVAC Tech
• 1-3 years plumbing experience
• Must have a current valid driver's license
• EPA Universal License
• Knowledge and experience of building construction, mathematics, and mechanical systems
• Take responsibility, pay attention to safety procedures and legal regulations
• Strong people skills, verbal / written communication skills and problem-solving skills
• Team player / Positive attitude
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools
• Computer Skills (able to effectively utilize internal Work Order System)
• Ability to perform manually taxing tasks including lifting heavy equipment and maintaining strenuous positions.
• Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, install, and maintain existing HVAC equipment and systems
• Determine the causes of system and equipment failures
• Use of a wide range of testing and metering equipment to test (continuity, amperage, voltage, fluid levels and pressures gauges)
• Installation and maintenance of new HVAC equipment
• Inspection and testing of systems for refrigerant leaks
• Repairs leaks, evacuates, clean, purge and recharge systems
• Advise the management team of critical systems that could be hazardous
