313A HVAC Technician/Apprentice
About The Position
BGIS Integrated Technical Services is experiencing significant growth and is looking to add service technicians across all regions in Ontario. This is an opportunity to join one of Canada’s largest HVAC companies and expand your knowledge and skills as an HVAC Journeyperson. The HVAC Apprentice will work under the supervision of a Journeyperson and within the limits of company policy and trade certification. They are responsible for operating facility systems, performing preventative and corrective maintenance, and routine services on mechanical and other systems. The HVAC Apprenticeship Program requires approximately 9,000 hours of training, with a combination of in-school, and on-the-job training.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience in an HVAC service department
- G2 Gas License
- 313D license and willing to work towards 313A
- Registered 313A or 313D Apprentice with G3 or G2 Gas License
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of pre-employment screening
Nice To Haves
- Willing to join UA787 as an Apprentice
- Some positions may require post-secondary education in a related field, and/or specific certifications/licenses
- Some positions may require a valid driver’s license, and clean driver’s abstract
- Registered under the ORAC Ready to Hire List is a strong asset
