About The Position

This role offers the opportunity to expand HVAC knowledge by working with top HVAC teams and servicing advanced heavy commercial and industrial equipment. The company provides factory certification through its Service Technical Academy (STA) and offers competitive pay and benefits. As a trusted advisor, the Tradesman will address comfort and building inefficiency issues, acting as a key problem-solver for customers.

Requirements

• Adherence to the company Safety Program.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with HVAC equipment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
• A valid driver’s license, with no major or frequent traffic violations.
• Willingness to join the UA of Plumbers and Pipefitters.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical installations and drive results under the guidance of peers and the Employer, according to the labor agreement and at the respective apprentice rate of pay.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to HVAC systems.
• Respond to basic warranty calls.
• Keep Johnson Controls (JCI), contractors, and customers informed of job progress and any issues that arise.
• Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facility efficiency, including identifying upselling opportunities.
• Provide quotes for recommended solutions.
