About The Position

As an HVAC Specialist, you are responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role ensures optimal performance, safety, and compliance with all applicable standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in HVAC technology is preferred
  • 3-5 years proven experience as an HVAC technician/specialist with strong understanding of HVAC systems and components.
  • HVAC Certification or ability to obtain within 12 months
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • EPA Universal Certification for refrigerant handling is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Install HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, heating systems, and ventilation systems.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctions in HVAC systems, including troubleshooting issues and replacing faulty components.
  • Inspect HVAC systems and components for any problems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures to clients and addressing their concerns.
  • Record maintenance and repair work performed, including the type and cost of services provided.
  • Maintaining, and troubleshooting HVAC systems within the facility.
