About The Position

Incumbents perform journey-level activities and quality control activities on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) equipment, and work closely with all related trades. Incumbents may serve as a lead worker, providing reports and condition of equipment, including troubleshooting, and maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) equipment, and may serve as a technical resource to other workers depending on assignment. Additionally, this position is responsible for supporting process-critical heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and cooling systems in facilities with electrical and control systems.

Requirements

• Vocational degree and two years of experience as a journey-level heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) technician.
• One year of relevant experience may be substituted for each year of required education.
• Must have at the time of hire and be able to maintain a valid Arizona Driver License.
• Must have at the time of hire and be able to maintain a Universal Refrigerant Recovery Certification.
