About The Position

In-N-Out Burger is seeking an experienced, full-time Maintenance Service Technician to cover the Salt Lake City/Sandy, UT market. This role is part of the Service department and requires HVAC certification. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all In-N-Out Burger restaurant equipment, including cooking equipment, A/C units, refrigeration, plumbing, light carpentry, and doors. The position involves working independently, responding to emergencies at stores, and adhering to safety guidelines. Travel within the region is required, with a preference for candidates living within a 30-mile radius of the service area.

Requirements

Must have EPA certification and HVAC certification
A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in working in refrigeration, air conditioning repair, restaurant equipment repair
Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair experience
Knowledge of High Voltage AC Power (3 Phase)
Strong experience working as a Maintenance tech on commercial jobs
A valid UT Driver’s License is required

Nice To Haves

‘Soda Fountain’ and trade school experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Maintenance and repair of all In-N-Out Burger restaurant equipment – Cooking equipment, A/C units, refrigeration, plumbing, light carpentry, door, shelves, etc.
Working well independently with little or no supervision
Traveling to the In-N-Out stores in your region at a moment’s notice, in case of emergencies
Observing all safety guidelines and maintaining the cleanliness of your specific work area
