Requirements

Proven experience as an HVAC service technician with a solid understanding of HVAC/R (refrigeration) systems and mechanical knowledge.
Ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and HVAC design plans accurately.
Mechanical skills including equipment repair.
Strong field service experience with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently on-site.
Proficiency with testing tools such as ohmmeters and familiarity with HVAC/R safety standards.
Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently in diverse environments.
A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

Sheet metal Apprentice, Journeyman or B ticket considered an asset.
Hands-on experience with construction projects involving HVAC installation or maintenance is highly desirable.
Knowledge of plumbing systems related to HVAC applications and property maintenance is preferred.
Familiarity with refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities

Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and refrigeration systems.
Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
Conduct routine inspections of mechanical systems to identify potential problems before they escalate.
Utilize specialized tools such as electrical testing.
Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance data.
