About The Position

NHS Mechanical is looking for a skilled and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team in Nashville, TN. We are seeking a highly motivated professional with a strong background in the commercial HVAC industry. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver, a team player, and committed to providing exceptional customer service.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a commercial HVAC Service Technician.
EPA Section 608 Universal Certification is required.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
Effective communication and customer service abilities.

Nice To Haves

Proven track record with chiller systems.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on a wide range of commercial systems.
Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues, utilizing schematics, blueprints, and manufacturer specifications.
Conduct refrigerant recovery, charging, and leak detection in strict accordance with EPA regulations.
Complete detailed service reports and work orders, accurately documenting work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
Provide clear and professional communication with clients, explaining technical issues and repair options in an understandable manner.
Participate in the on-call rotation for emergency service calls.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior technicians and apprentices.
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and others.
