About The Position

Willis Mechanical is seeking a dependable, knowledgeable, and positive communicator to join their team as a Commercial and Industrial HVAC Service Technician. For over 23 years, Willis Mechanical has been a trusted provider of commercial HVAC mechanical services and construction in the Atlanta area. The company's mission is to make clients' lives easier by providing outstanding customer service through highly skilled technicians. This role involves direct customer contact and responsibility for providing HVAC services to commercial, industrial, and institutional customers, including identifying, analyzing, diagnosing, and repairing equipment on-site.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Completed an Apprentice School or a 5-year combination of Journeyman-level experience
  • Steady work history with 5+ years in the HVAC business
  • Universal EPA License
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and participate in a drug-free workplace
  • A current driver’s license and an impeccable driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Local Union 72 membership or willingness and ability to join Local Union 72

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 30 Certification

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair air-cooled and water-cooled chillers.
  • Safely perform preventative maintenance on a variety of HVAC equipment, including split systems, rooftop units, package systems, water source heat pumps, etc.
  • Collaborate with Journeymen and Apprentice technicians, project managers, and dispatchers.
  • Maintain provided service equipment and service vehicle.
  • Exhibit professional behavior.
  • Possess the desire for continuous learning.
  • Drive to job sites throughout the day.
