About The Position

We offer single-source facilities services solutions, including engineering, design, installation, repair, maintenance and operations for commercial real estate, financial, healthcare, technology, educational, and industrial facilities. New England Mechanical Services is currently seeking HVAC Technicians with D2 or S2 licenses to maintain trouble shoot, repair and operate commercial HVAC systems for our South Windsor CT Operations Group. This position prefers the selected individuals to have commercial HVAC systems experience, the ability to respond on a moment’s notice, and strong communication skills. A company vehicle, HVAC equipment, gas card, cell phone, uniforms, and all PPE is provided.

Requirements

Must hold a current CT S2 or D2 license.
EPA 608 Universal required.
Commercial HVAC systems experience.
Must have a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Keep trade licenses and certifications current.
Follow and comply with the rules and regulations of section 608 of the clean air act and occupational safety regulations mandated by federal, state and local governments.
Attend all safety training provided and/or sponsored by NEMSI.
Follow all NEMSI safety policies, procedures, and use personal protective equipment when performing installation and/or servicing HVAC systems.
Interact with the client in a professional and courteous manner while maintaining a clean and neat appearance.
Flexible to work overtime and weekends as demand requires.
Other duties may be assigned.
