About The Position

We are a leading home services provider looking for highly skilled individuals to serve as HVAC Service Technicians. In this role, you will provide customers with expert service for their home heating systems and equipment. You will effectively serve as the public face of our company as you make in-home service visits, utilizing both technical expertise and customer service talents. Shifts include days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with paid overtime. We offer competitive compensation and benefits for full-time staff, as well as overtime opportunities during the busy winter season. There may also be room for advancement.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent; HVAC certifications a plus.
  • Prior experience servicing residential Air Conditioning and Heating equipment.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet the company's motor vehicle policy.
  • Exceptional technical skills as well as strong communication skills.
  • Willingness to expand technical and repair knowledge; obtain new licenses and commitment to professional growth.
  • Ability to support our company brand as an advocate.
  • Must be able to work independently while safely maintaining a high level of performance.
  • Highly detail-oriented and focused with a flexible and adaptable nature.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to providing the best and most responsive customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Make service calls to customer homes and provide expert troubleshooting and repair service to a variety of equipment, particularly their heating systems.
  • Maintain a professional and friendly image and serve as an advocate for the company and our brand.
  • Assess customers' equipment and service needs.
  • Troubleshoot and repair residential AC equipment, heating, and other equipment.
  • Identify revenue-generating opportunities, make recommendations to customers, and close any sales that can be immediately performed.
  • Perform efficiency tests on all combustion related installations.
  • Prepare accurate daily paperwork.
  • Communicate with Dispatcher and Service departments.
  • Utilize all applicable safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain a clean and neat service van and properly account for assigned tools and parts inventory.
