HVAC Service Technician

Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- State HVAC License Journeyman or Masters preferred, but not required based upon previous experience
- Universal CFC Certification Required
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Ten (10) to fifteen (15) years commercial experience preferred.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of related experience with HVAC systems
- Strong electrical trouble shooting skills to perform the following; connect motors, compressors, temperature controls, humidity controls, and ventilation fans to starter panels and/or VFD's
- Able to lift up to sixty (60) pounds
- Capable of ascending ladders up to a height of thirty (30) feet
Nice To Haves
- VRF diagnosis and repair a plus
- Speak to your experience with any of the following equipment: CRAC Units, RTU's, Split System AC and HP's, VRF's, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Boilers, Gas and Oil Fired, AHU's, VAV Systems, Chill Water, Condenser Water, Hot Water Systems and Hi/Low Pressure Steam Systems.
Responsibilities
- Maintain HVAC equipment in sound operating condition
- Diagnose and repair HVAC system problems as assigned—VRF diagnosis and repair a plus
- Provide direction and support to sub-contractors when needed
- Interface with building personnel and other customer representatives in order to ensure client satisfaction
- Accurately document work performed on trouble tickets or work orders
- Purchase materials and supplies, and maintain inventory as required for timely work completion
