About The Position

ICE Western Sales is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to join their Service team. This role is crucial for testing, commissioning, and servicing custom HVAC systems both internally and at client locations throughout North America. The successful candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills, a dedication to safety, and a customer-centric approach. Requirements

• Certified Journeyman Refrigeration Technician (or equivalent)
• Valid driver’s license with clean abstract
• Valid passport and ability to travel internationally
• Must pass pre-access drug/alcohol screening and background checks
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and time management skills
• Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and computer systems
• Ability to work independently and within a team

Nice To Haves

• Alberta Gasfitter “A” or “B” Ticket
• Alberta Electrician Ticket

Responsibilities

• Test HVAC units to ensure full functionality prior to deployment
• Start-up and commission HVAC systems at customer sites
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, electrical systems, and components
• Detect refrigerant leaks and recharge systems as required
• Interpret wiring diagrams and technical documentation
• Perform pressure testing on piping and tubing joints
• Train customers, apprentices, and site technicians on system operation
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Maintain accurate service reports and documentation
• Deliver exceptional customer service and support
