About The Position

EST Companies is looking for a dependable, skilled HVAC Service Technician to support atmospheric water generator systems and industrial equipment at customer sites. You’ll perform preventative maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and equipment start‑ups while representing EST with professionalism and strong customer service. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast‑moving environments, enjoys working with their hands, and takes pride in delivering high‑quality technical service. Minimal travel required; occasional forklift or similar equipment operation may be assigned.

Requirements

  • EPA Refrigerant Handling Certification (Universal or Type III).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in HVAC, industrial maintenance, or related technical fields.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electronic systems.
  • Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, ladder logic, and technical manuals.
  • Proficiency with standard hand tools and test instruments.
  • Strong customer service orientation and professional communication skills.
  • Dependable, organized, self‑motivated, and able to work under pressure.
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver’s license with excellent driving record.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain military base access and other required credentials.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs routinely and up to 100 lbs occasionally; ability to work in demanding physical environments including kneeling, bending, climbing, and exposure to noise or hazards.

Nice To Haves

  • HVAC certification or associate degree preferred.
  • Experience troubleshooting digital/analog circuitry and electric motors preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC and industrial equipment.
  • Assemble, install, start up, and test new equipment at customer sites.
  • Diagnose issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals, and standard test instruments.
  • Provide on‑site and in‑field service, including emergency repairs when required.
  • Prepare parts, rework kits, and shipments; manage local pick‑ups and deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate service records, equipment histories, trip reports, and expense submissions.
  • Build professional relationships with customer personnel and communicate service findings clearly.
  • Maintain clean, organized company vehicles and work areas.
  • Follow all EST safety procedures, operating standards, and regulatory requirements.
