HVAC Service Technician
About The Position
Greenwood Heating and Home Services, Washington's Oldest and Most Trusted HVAC Contractor, established in 1918, is seeking an HVAC Service Technician. We are a stable, loyal, and growing company with a team of over 170 individuals serving Western Washington. Requirements
- HVAC experience required for Service Technician role.
- Confident and professional communication skills via phone and face-to-face interaction with homeowners.
- Experience with and able to navigate mobile devices (Apple products) with the ability to learn new software.
- Attention to detail when debriefing office or homeowner about findings in the field.
- Service-oriented and ability to interact with all customer service scenarios (positive and negative).
- Ability to empathize and work through challenging problem-solving situations.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to be on your feet/knees for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work in crawl spaces and attics for periods of time.
- Must be able to work on ladders.
- Must be able to drive a company vehicle.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Gather information and data about equipment being serviced.
- Diagnose system failures and issues.
- Educate customers on findings and offer recommendations for solutions.
- Navigate tablet software to understand previous customer and equipment history.
- Engage in client discussions professionally and politely to uncover their needs.
- Work with team leaders to address issues beyond their knowledge base.
