About The Position
John's Service & Sales is seeking motivated HVAC Service Technicians to join their growing team in Oglesby, IL. This is a full-time permanent position covered under the Sheet Metal Workers Local 1 Collective Bargaining Agreement. Requirements
- 3-5 years HVAC experience in a residential setting.
- EPA Section 608 Certification required.
- Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, construction, or trade school experience is a plus.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work safely in a variety of indoor and outdoor conditions.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems.
- Install and replace furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and indoor air quality equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance and seasonal tune-ups.
- Troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, and airflow issues.
- Service light commercial HVAC equipment as needed.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and commercial customers.
- Complete service documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
