About The Position
Duck Duck Rooter Plumbing, Septic & AC Services is a renowned company based in Jacksonville, Florida. We offer professional plumbing septic and HVAC services, including installation, repair, pumping, replacement, and so much more. We are seeking a motivated and team-oriented experienced HVAC technician to join our fast-paced company located in Jacksonville, Florida.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HVAC technician or in a related field.
- Proficient in performing mechanical repairs and welding tasks.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of property maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with appliance repair is beneficial.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests to identify HVAC system issues and determine appropriate solutions.
- Repair or replace defective components in HVAC systems, such as compressors, motors, and thermostats.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Respond to service calls and troubleshoot HVAC system problems on-site.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs, maintenance tasks, and installations performed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on HVAC systems.
- Install and connect HVAC equipment, including ductwork, vents, and piping.
- Sales of IAQ products, including UV lights, Air Scrubbers and purifiers.
