As an HVAC Technician at Hawkins Service Company, you will be responsible for maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential properties. You will ensure that our customers' HVAC systems are operating efficiently and safely. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skills and a strong commitment to customer service.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; technical school training is preferred.
Valid HVAC technician certification (e.g., EPA 608 certification).
Proven experience as an HVAC technician or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and functions.
Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Ability to work weekends.
Ability to work on call schedule.
Having the proper tools to do the required work.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Maintain, and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues, providing effective solutions.
Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Replace or repair defective components and wiring.
Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
Provide excellent customer service, including explaining system issues and maintenance requirements to customers.
Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including service reports and inventory usage.
Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
