HVAC Service Technician
About The Position
McWilliams is growing in Richmond, and we're building a strong residential service team. We're looking for an HVAC Service Technician who takes ownership of their work, communicates well with homeowners, and wants to earn more based on performance — someone who goes beyond fixing equipment to diagnose the issue, walk the customer through their options, and deliver a great experience every time. McWilliams is a trusted name in home services, delivering top-tier HVAC and plumbing to families across Texas. You'll run residential service calls scheduled by dispatch — diagnosing accurately, presenting clear repair and replacement options, and delivering a 5-star experience on every visit.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in residential HVAC service, including diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance in occupied homes
- A valid Texas HVAC license (or actively working toward obtaining one)
- Ability to diagnose systems and present repair and replacement options to homeowners effectively
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the capability to explain solutions and demonstrate value
- A goal-driven mindset with the desire to earn based on performance
- A professional appearance and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- A valid driver's license and an insurable driving record
- Must be 18 years of age or older to apply
