About The Position

The Comfort Group, Inc. is seeking experienced Commercial/Industrial HVAC Technicians for immediate openings in Nashville, Tennessee. This locally owned and operated Mechanical Systems Company has been serving the Mid-State area for over 50 years, with offices in Nashville, TN and Huntsville, AL. They pride themselves on excellent customer service, providing quality, personalized service and trained staff to prominent facilities in Tennessee and Alabama. The technicians will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair small to large commercial and industrial HVAC systems. Ideal candidates are reliable, work well independently, and are motivated to complete jobs with minimal supervision.

Requirements

3 or more years of experience in diagnosis, service, start-up, and repair of commercial HVAC systems.
Commercial HVAC experience is required.
Experience with chillers, boilers, and overall mechanical systems.
EPA certification is required.
Possession of standard HVAC trade tools.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills (oral and written).
Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and carry/climb all types of ladders.
Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

Controls and Building Energy Management System experience (especially specific experience with Automated Logic systems).
Detail-oriented with the ability to work well under pressure with field personnel, building owners, and representatives.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair small to large commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
Perform diagnosis, service, start-up, and repair of commercial HVAC systems.
Be available for on-call shifts on a rotating basis.
Lift 50+ lbs. and carry/climb all types of ladders.
Perform basic computer tasks.
