About The Position
Lincoln Tech is hiring a part-time HVAC Service Technician Instructor to teach and mentor students in its accredited HVAC training program. The instructor provides theoretical and hands-on instruction in a climate-controlled, fully equipped facility, using curriculum and materials aligned with industry standards. Teaching experience is not required; HVAC expertise and a desire to educate and inspire are essential.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of HVAC Technician experience in the HVAC field.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage students in a learning environment.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring future professionals.
Responsibilities
- Teach HVAC Technologies classes using Lincoln Tech's accredited curriculum.
- Conduct hands-on training sessions in the facility.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student growth, professionalism, and accountability.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback and guidance.
- Deliver lesson plans and instructional materials aligned with industry standards.
- Stay current with HVAC technologies and practices to provide up-to-date training.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to improve program effectiveness and student outcomes.
- Prepare students for certification exams and careers in HVAC Technology.
