About The Position

Casteel Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical is seeking a dynamic and goal-oriented HVAC Service Manager for its Marietta, GA location. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with demonstrated leadership and people development skills. This role involves managing over 30 employees and coordinating HVAC services and repairs to meet customer needs. Casteel is the largest and most-respected Home Services company in the Metro-Atlanta Region, known for its service, quality, and reliability over the past 25 years.

Requirements

  • 10+ Years within the HVAC Residential Industry
  • Must have HVAC experience (commercial experience only is not sufficient)
  • 3+ Year's experience in a service management role within the industry
  • Technical School diploma or certificate of completion
  • Associates Degree
  • Knowledge of HVAC equipment, tools, and materials
  • Extensive technical skills within the trade
  • Customer/Client Interfacing Ability
  • Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule as necessary to meet customer requirements
  • Understanding of operational concepts including planning, scheduling, and logistics
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel

Responsibilities

  • Directly manages Service and Dispatch staff members, including interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
  • Stays abreast of industry technological developments and conveys this knowledge to team members.
  • Coordinates team member activities to ensure individual and team goals are consistently achieved.
  • Ensures team members are working up to the highest standards in all aspects of their positions.
  • Conducts regular meetings with team members to review company policy and procedures, performance, quality, and safety statistics.
  • Interfaces effectively with other departments.
  • Ensures employees provide superior customer service and conducts ride-a-longs with Service Technicians.
  • Provides customer service support as necessary, responds to customer inquiries and problems in a timely manner, and resolves excessive consumption problems.
  • Promotes and supports the Company brand.
