About The Position
Join RS Andrews of Tidewater, part of American Residential Services (ARS), a national leader in residential HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services. We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Supervisor to support our service leadership team and help manage day-to-day operations for our residential HVAC service technicians. This position reports directly to the HVAC Service Manager and plays a key role in ensuring high-quality service, strong technician performance, and excellent customer experience.
Requirements
- Vocational training or equivalent HVAC experience
- Minimum 2 years of HVAC service field supervisory experience
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and financial awareness
- Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office preferred)
- Strong understanding of residential HVAC systems, service operations, and technician workflow
Responsibilities
- Assist with managing the service team and supporting the daily operations of the HVAC service department.
- Assist with supervising and developing the HVAC service team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Help coordinate technician schedules, daily assignments, and service priorities.
- Support the Service Manager in maintaining efficient operations and high-quality service delivery.
- Monitor technician performance, workmanship, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure materials, parts, and equipment are ordered and available for scheduled jobs.
- Review departmental reports including inventory, tools, vehicles, and service metrics.
- Conduct job site visits and inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Review payroll records to ensure technicians are properly compensated.
- Ensure technicians have the tools, equipment, and resources needed to complete service calls.
- Support dispatch operations to ensure appropriate technician assignment and scheduling.
