About The Position

Grow Op Farms is seeking an experienced HVAC & Refrigeration Technician to support our indoor cultivation, warehouse, and production facilities. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing HVAC and refrigeration systems that are critical to our operations. Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • EPA Section 608 Type II Certification (minimum)
  • Valid driver's license
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of HVAC Journeyman experience
  • Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in commercial maintenance, construction, or facilities maintenance
  • Experience with preventative maintenance programs
  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Experience working in regulated manufacturing, agricultural, or industrial environments

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and install commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, boilers, and ventilation equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair compressors, condensers, chillers, pumps, valves, thermostats, relays, motors, heat exchangers, safety controls, filters, belts, and related components.
  • Install, rebuild, replace, or repair fans, motors, bearings, gaskets, controls, and electrical components.
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting and maintenance, including wiring motors, timers, control panels, and HVAC equipment.
  • Test and inspect boiler and water heater operation.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, vacuum pumps, testing equipment, and company vehicles safely.
  • Maintain parts inventory and ensure tools and equipment remain in safe working condition.
  • Document maintenance activities, labor, materials, and completed work within the company's asset management system.
  • Coordinate maintenance projects with third-party contractors.
  • Monitor preventative maintenance contracts to ensure vendors complete scheduled work.
  • Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and applicable regulations.
  • Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned.
