About The Position

K&D Factory Service is seeking experienced technicians to service commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and food service equipment at restaurants, schools, hospitals, and nursing homes. Technicians perform dispatched service calls across the company’s service area in Pennsylvania and Northern Maryland, working from one of seven Pennsylvania branches. The company has been servicing Pennsylvania since 1945.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience servicing HVAC/R systems or working in a related industry.
• EPA Level 2 certification at minimum.
• Driving record that meets the company’s safety standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Strong knowledge of electrical or mechanical systems.
• CFESA certification or manufacturer training.

Responsibilities

• Perform dispatched service calls and diagnose and repair issues with commercial equipment.
• Accurately report service activities on a tablet after every call.
• Provide excellent customer service and partner with internal team members.
• Work an on-call schedule, including overtime when needed.
• Operate and manage company-issued vehicles, tools, and equipment according to company guidelines.
