About The Position

K&D Factory Service is seeking experienced Commercial HVAC/R Service Technicians to service commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and food service equipment at restaurants, schools, hospitals, and nursing homes. The company serves Pennsylvania and Northern Maryland from branches in Harrisburg, York, Lancaster, Williamsport, Allentown, Altoona, and Scranton. Candidates need at least two years of industry or related experience. The position involves dispatched service calls, diagnosing and repairing commercial equipment, recording service activity on a tablet, and supporting customers and internal team members. Technicians must be able to work an on-call schedule; overtime pay is offered for on-call work.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience servicing HVAC/R systems or in a related industry.
• EPA Level 2 minimum.
• Driving record must meet the company's safety standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Strong knowledge of electrical or mechanical systems is encouraged.
• CFESA certification or manufacturer training.

Responsibilities

• Perform dispatched service calls and diagnose and repair issues with commercial equipment.
• Accurately report service activities on a tablet after every call.
• Provide an excellent customer experience and partner with internal team members.
• Work an on-call schedule.
• Operate and manage company-issued vehicles, tools, and equipment according to company guidelines.
