About The Position

7-Eleven is seeking an HVAC/R Technician II to join their team. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of store equipment, including maintaining the optimal temperature for products like Slurpee machines and addressing various in-store maintenance needs. The technician will play a vital role in ensuring customer convenience and supporting the communities served by 7-Eleven.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 3+ years in HVAC or refrigeration repair and maintenance.
• EPA 608 (Type I and II or Universal) Certification.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Skills: Leadership, peer-to-peer Tech support, project/stretch assignments, and facility location ownership.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests for HVAC, refrigeration, cold beverage equipment, and ice makers.
• Address work orders related to plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues.
• Manage parts inventory and complete daily reports to ensure efficiency.
• Potentially train Preventative Maintenance Techs on HVAC-related equipment and train lesser experienced technicians.
