About The Position
7-Eleven is seeking an HVAC/R Technician II to join their team. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of store equipment, including refrigeration for products like Slurpee machines, and addressing various in-store maintenance challenges. The technician will play a vital role in ensuring customer convenience and supporting the communities served by 7-Eleven.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 3+ years in HVAC or refrigeration repair and maintenance.
- EPA 608 (Type I and II or Universal) Certification.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Skills: Leadership, peer-to-peer Tech support, project/stretch assignments, and facility location ownership.
Responsibilities
- Respond to service requests for HVAC, refrigeration, cold beverage equipment, and ice makers.
- Address work orders related to plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues.
- Manage parts inventory and complete daily reports to ensure efficiency.
- May be responsible for training Preventative Maintenance Techs on HVAC-related equipment and training for lesser experienced technicians.
