About The Position
7-Eleven is seeking an HVAC/R Technician II to join their team. This role is crucial for maintaining the operational efficiency of store equipment, including refrigeration units, beverage machines, and ice makers, as well as addressing general maintenance issues. The technician will play a key role in ensuring customer convenience by keeping essential store equipment functioning optimally.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 3+ years in HVAC or refrigeration repair and maintenance.
- EPA 608 (Type I and II or Universal) Certification.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Skills: Leadership, peer-to-peer Tech support, project/stretch assignments, and facility location ownership.
Responsibilities
- Respond to service requests for HVAC, refrigeration, cold beverage equipment, and ice makers.
- Address work orders related to plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues.
- Manage parts inventory and complete daily reports to ensure efficiency.
- Potentially train Preventative Maintenance Technicians on HVAC-related equipment.
- Potentially train lesser experienced technicians.
