About The Position

The HVAC/R Tech II (described in the summary as Kitchen Technician II) troubleshoots and repairs mechanical and refrigeration components according to standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and manufacturer guidelines. The role responds to facility service requests and works with other technicians to maintain and repair building systems. The scheduled shift is 2 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., four days per week, with three days off.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current universal refrigeration license and/or other trade licenses as required.
• At least 3 years of HVAC/R experience.

Nice To Haves

• Technical degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Respond to facility service work orders from building occupants, including plumbing, HVAC, lighting, roofing, and electrical service requests.
• Diagnose faults and errors in building management and energy management systems.
• Collaborate with other technicians to maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and lighting systems.
• Interpret blueprints and schematic drawings to troubleshoot and complete repairs accurately.
• Complete required paperwork promptly and accurately; take equipment readings and record them in the appropriate logs.
• Use standard-issue tools and equipment, and keep tools and work areas clean and orderly.
• Follow company safety policies and use required personal protective equipment while completing work requests.
• Work toward and complete facility team-based goals.
