About The Position

The Electrical Tech II troubleshoots and repairs mechanical and electrical components in accordance with standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and manufacturer guidelines. The role responds to facility service requests, diagnoses building and energy management systems, and collaborates with technicians to maintain and repair facility systems. The technician also maintains tools and work areas, completes required documentation, records equipment readings, and contributes to facility team goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current journeyman electrical license.
• At least 3 years of electrical-related experience.

• Technical degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Respond to facility service work orders from building occupants, including plumbing, HVAC, lighting, roofing, and electrical service requests.
• Diagnose building management and energy management systems for faults and errors.
• Collaborate with fellow technicians to maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, and lighting systems.
• Interpret blueprints and schematic drawings to support accurate troubleshooting and repairs.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Take readings from nominal equipment and enter them into appropriate logs promptly.
• Use standard-issue tools and equipment, and keep tools and work areas clean and orderly.
• Follow company safety policies and use required personal protective equipment.
• Complete facility team-based goals.
